Virtual College Planning

How to usevirtual campus visits to help students plan for college. The workshop will provide a complete tour of internet-related college planning tools, including CPN's Web site. Participants will be able to go on-line to experience Internet sites.

Electronic Directory and Subscriber List for School and College Counselors

An online directory and list-serve for Pacific Northwest student counselors, attached to CPN's Web site

 Projected by 2003:
Monthly volume is 100,000 visits, 2 million hits. Visits from Pacific NW locations are 35% of volume with an additional 55% from the rest of the U.S. and 10% from international locations. Two percent of visitors provide voluntary demographic data indicating that 70% are between the ages of 14-24.

Volume in 1999:
Monthly volume is 4,400, 88,000 hits. Demographics are the same as projected above.		 Education professionals are able to gain instant access to college admission and financial aid information and tools, allowing them to assist students and parents with planning. Via the college planning list-serve, counselors can receive direct college planning advice and make referals.
