CLASSIC MOTORCAR 2003 FALL MINI-RALLY and the
CXKJR/CCMGC POPPY RALLY
The 2003 Classic Motorcar Fall Mini-Rally continues the island theme with a 3 hour rally on Bainbridge Island, WA, followed by an awards dinner. The Mini-Rally will take place on Saturday, November 8th, 2003. The start will be at 1:00 PM in Winslow, WA with a visit to the car collection of Glenn Mounger, Co-Chair of the Pebble Beach Concours during the mid-rally break. The awards dinner will be held at the new Clearwater Casino Convewntion Center. Lodging options are available for those wishing to stay over Saturday evening. This is an excellent opportunity to brush up on rally skills or introduce a new team member to vintage rallying.

For 2003, target participation will again be 30 rally teams. Sporting motorcars manufactured prior to 1979 (25 years old or more) will be encouraged however newer cars are welcome reflecting Fall driving conditions. In order to reserve your space, please complete the following advance registration form. The cost of the Mini-Rally is $75, including dinner for two, commemorative Rally plate and tote bag and must be received by October 15, 2003 to receive the advance registration discount. Registrations after October 15th will be $85 U.S. All proceeds from the event benefit the non-profit College Planning Network.

For the fourth year, The Poppy Rally will follow the Classic Motorcar Fall Mini-Rally, with a 3 hour rally and awards brunch in North Kitsap on Sunday, November 9th. The Poppy Rally is put on by the CXKJR/CCMGC, British Columbia's Jaguar and MG clubs. By combining events on the same weekend and location, both rallies have been able to increase participation. For members of the Jaguar Clubs of North America, both rallies are santioned for national points.

You can participate in either one or both rallies. A joint registration form for the Mini-Rally and Poppy Rally is below. The cost per team for the Poppy Rally is $45 US and includes brunch for two. If you have already registered for the Mini-Rally and wish to participate in the Poppy Rally as well, please contact Doug Breithaupt and we can update your registration form.

Those wishing to stay on Bainbridge Island Saturday November 8th can take advantage of a special rate of $69US single, $79US double + tax per room at the Island Country Inn in Winslow for Rally participants.
