Applicant Criteria
Applicants for the Anne D. Maloof Scholarship Fund (MSF) must:
1. Be attending or prepared to attend an 2 year public or 4 year public or private college or university, at the undergraduate or graduate level, in the United States.
2. Have demonstrated financial need
3. Be a resident of one of following counties in Washington State; Island, Kitsap, Jefferson and Thurston counties
Applicants must provide the following documentation to the MSF Scholarship Committee, POSTMARKED BY: March 1.
1. A completed MSF application, including essay, activity list and recommendations
2. An official transcript from the high school or college the student is currently attending or if not currently in school, an official transcript from the last school they attended
3. A copy of a completed, current Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the most recent FAFSA Student Aid Report (SAR)
Awards amounts are not yet set for 2009. Applicants will be notified after April 15th. Copies of this application may be duplicated for distribution to other interested students.

1. A personal essay (not to exceed one 8.5x11 page, double spaced) explaining how receipt of this award will help you meet your educational goals
2. A list of significant activities and honors (one page only)
3. Two letters of recommendation
4. An official transcript from the high school or college the student is currently attending or if not currently in school, an official transcript from the last school they attended
5. A copy of a completed, current Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or FAFSA Student Aid Report (SAR)
