The Money Maze
Finding money for college is always a challenge. The Money Maze - finding money
for college is a workshop designed to address the major issues facing students and
parents as they pursue all types of need and merit-based financial aid programs.  
The presentation includes a complete review of all grants, scholarships, work study
and student loan programs.  The formula used to determine the expected family
contribution is explained.  Key financial aid forms and negotiating options are
discussed.  The new scholarship Website, theWashBoard.org is presented.
The Keys to College
The Keys to college - how to navigate the college selection and admission process,
is a workshop to provide students and parents with the tools they need to be accepted
to the colleges of their choice.  The process by which a college is selected and then
details of the admission application are discussed in full.  Tips for preparing a
successful application are offered to students.
The Scholarship Market
College Planning Network is pleased to offer a workshops identifying scholarship
sources and application techniques. The new Washington State resource,
theWashBoard.org is fully reviewed.  The process to match student and scholarship
characteristics is discussed.  Expert advice on the best ways to complete scholarship
applications are presented.
Back to School
Back to School - a guide for adults returning to college offers non-traditional
students over the age of 24 a workshop on how to approach the college selection,
admission and financial aid process.  Issues unique to the needs of adult students
are discussed. Admission and financial aid forms as they relate to returning adults
are reviewed.
College Planning Early
The College Planning Early workshop brings parents or guardians together with
representatives of the College Planning Network for information gathering,
questions and answers and hands-on planning. The workshop helps each family to
project economic, educational and career trends over the next 10-15 years, see
what college costs will be and the resources available to meet those costs, identify
realistic savings strategies, understand how colleges decide who gets financial
aid and scholarships and determine how much your family may be expected to
contribute toward college.

College Planning Network offers special workshops at select locations throughout
the year. Workshops can be custom designed for unique populations.  Schools and
