Criteria & Procedures Only Seniors enrolled in a Washington State public or private high school, as well as those who are home-schooled and reside in Washington State, are eligible to enter. The Student Information/Release Form must be included which provides student and school information, parent permission and statement of originality from student and a teacher/advisor. Immediate family members of WSADA Dealer Member principals are not eligible.
Criteria - Help us imagine: 1. What might your personal vehicle of the future look like? 2. What special features would it have? 3. How would it accommodate the lifestyle you envision? 4. How would it support the environment? What you need to do: Share your vision of question 1 in an artistic medium as detailed in the application. Write a two-page essay addressing questions 2, 3, and 4 above.

Be a dependent child of an EBPA member in good standing
Have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5
Be a Washington State resident, planning to attend an accredited institution for higher learning
Be prepared to use the award in the next academic year

Criteria & Procedures

The purpose of the JOHN C. BIGELOW SCHOLARSHIP is to honor and to give financial support to a deserving senior currently enrolled at Bothell, Inglemoor or Woodinville public high schools.
(Scholarship Award for tuition only paid directly to the college or university).
The criteria for application are:

  • to be a current high school senior at Bothell, Inglemoor or Woodinville public high schools. The student must enroll full-time in a 2-4 year community college or public university.
  • to have earned a cumulative 3.0 GPA during high school. (Renewable Scholarships must maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA during all quarters or semesters at the community college or university where they are enrolled.)
  • to demonstrate financial need and ability to pay additional expenses not covered by this scholarship, as substantiated by the enrolling institution.

2. Have demonstrated financial need, although need will not necessarily be the determining factor in the selection of recipients
3. Be a resident of Washington State .
4. Be majoring in business or communications. A focus in marketing, advertising and public relations is strongly encouraged. The award is designated as the Kerin Keller Memorial Scholarship and has the additional requirement that the applicant be related to a victim of cancer.

You must have demonstrated potential in the field of communications and have need of financial assistance to complete your coursework.

To apply, you will need to submit a completed application form, two letters of reference, a school transcript, and three samples of your work. (See attached application form.)
